RETURN, REFUND, AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Due to the custom-built, made-to-order, delicate, and electronic nature of our products, all sales are final except where a remedy is required by applicable law or expressly approved in writing by DSS Sim Racing Innovations.
We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind, frustration during setup, incompatibility with a customer’s specific setup, incorrect assumptions about functionality, or failure to review compatibility before purchase.
Each product is carefully produced, assembled, tested, and packaged before shipment. Once a product leaves our facility, it cannot always be safely resold as new due to the risk of hidden damage, installation marks, electronic damage, missing components, or handling beyond basic inspection.
SUPPORT BEFORE AND AFTER PURCHASE
We provide customer support before and after purchase.
If you have questions about compatibility, mounting, setup, software, or usage, please contact us before purchasing. Most setup-related concerns can be resolved quickly with guidance.
A setup issue, compatibility issue, software configuration problem, or installation difficulty does not automatically mean that a product is defective.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us promptly so we can evaluate the issue. We may require photos, video, packaging photos, and additional information to confirm the problem.
If we determine that the product was damaged during shipping or has a verified manufacturing defect, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy. This may include repair, replacement, replacement parts, or another remedy required by applicable law.
Failure to report shipping damage promptly may result in the claim being denied.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED
No product may be returned without prior written authorization from DSS Sim Racing Innovations.
Contacting us about a return does not mean the return has been accepted. Before any item is sent back, DSS Sim Racing Innovations must review the request and confirm in writing whether the product is eligible for return.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Items sent back without prior written authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or held until the customer pays any required shipping costs.
THE FOLLOWING SECTION IS FOR EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERST ONLY !!! – CUSTOM-MADE AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS
This section applies to customers located in the European Union where applicable consumer protection laws provide a statutory right of withdrawal.
Many DSS Sim Racing Innovations products are not mass-produced shelf items. Our products are often made to order, produced in small batches, or prepared specifically for the customer’s selected configuration, simulator setup, mounting requirements, product options, display type, electronics, color, finish, or other order-specific details.
Where a product is custom-made, customer-specified, clearly personalized, or produced specifically for the customer’s individual order, the statutory EU right of withdrawal may not apply.
Because these products are produced for a specific customer and often for a specific simulator setup, DSS Sim Racing Innovations may reject cancellation, return, or refund requests based on change of mind, incorrect assumptions, incompatibility, or frustration during installation.
EU CUSTOMERS – ELIGIBLE NON-CUSTOM RETURNS
If a product is not custom-made, not personalized, and not otherwise exempt from the statutory EU right of withdrawal, eligible EU customers may have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product.
To request a withdrawal, the customer must contact DSS Sim Racing Innovations within the required withdrawal period and clearly state that they wish to withdraw from the purchase.
The product must not be returned until DSS Sim Racing Innovations has provided return authorization and return instructions.
RETURN SHIPPING, INSURANCE, AND RISK
For any approved return, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping unless applicable law requires otherwise.
The customer must return the product using a tracked and insured shipping method. The return shipment must be insured for at least the full original amount paid by the customer, including the product price and the original shipping cost.
The customer is responsible for the product until it is safely received by DSS Sim Racing Innovations. If the return shipment is lost, damaged, delayed, refused, returned to sender, or arrives with missing components because of inadequate packaging, insufficient insurance, or carrier handling, DSS Sim Racing Innovations is not responsible for that loss.
If the customer fails to insure the return shipment for the required value, any loss or damage during return shipping may reduce or eliminate the refund amount.
ORIGINAL SHIPPING CHARGES
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for custom-made products, customer-specified products, personalized products, or voluntarily approved returns, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
For eligible non-custom EU returns where the statutory right of withdrawal legally applies, DSS Sim Racing Innovations will handle original standard shipping charges as required by applicable law.
Upgraded shipping, express shipping, optional shipping services, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, carrier fees, and other third-party charges are not refundable unless required by applicable law.
RETURN CONDITION
Returned products must be received in the same condition in which they were delivered, including all original packaging, accessories, cables, hardware, manuals, protective materials, and supplied components.
Customers may inspect a product as they would in a retail environment. However, handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and basic functionality of the product may reduce the refund amount.
Examples of excessive handling include installation marks, mounting damage, scratches, dents, stripped threads, damaged mounting points, cosmetic wear, wiring damage, connector damage, USB port damage, screen damage, circuit board damage, disassembly, modification, drilling, sanding, painting, gluing, firmware changes, missing parts, liquid exposure, impact damage, incorrect voltage, misuse, improper installation, or prolonged use beyond inspection.
INSPECTION BEFORE REFUND
A refund will not be issued simply because a return shipment has been sent.
All returned products must first be received, opened, inspected, and evaluated by DSS Sim Racing Innovations.
If the product is returned complete, unused, undamaged, unmodified, and in resaleable condition, any applicable refund will be processed according to this policy and applicable law.
If the product shows signs of damage, installation, missing components, modification, misuse, electrical damage, or handling beyond basic inspection, DSS Sim Racing Innovations may reduce the refund amount to reflect diminished value, repair costs, replacement parts, testing time, missing components, or inability to resell the item as new.
Products returned with significant damage, missing components, unsafe electrical condition, modification, or evidence of misuse may receive a substantially reduced refund or may be ineligible for refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.
