Duo Tech vs Triple Tech: choosing your SimHub dashboard

Choosing between Duo Tech and Triple Tech starts with the screen layout you want in your cockpit. Both use two 3.4-inch round touchscreens and SimHub dashboard files; Triple Tech adds a 4-inch center screen.

What is the difference?

  • Duo Tech: two round 3.4-inch touchscreens, without a center display.
  • Triple Tech: two round 3.4-inch touchscreens plus the 4-inch center display.

Choose Duo Tech if you want the two round gauges. Choose Triple Tech if your layout also needs the center display. Shared promotional images can show the three-screen version, so use the product description and configuration selector to confirm what you are ordering.

Check clearance and mounting first

Triple Tech's listing recommends a 380 mm or larger steering wheel; smaller rims can obscure the gauges. Check visibility from your normal driving position before deciding.

Bracket options include MOZA, MOZA TSW, Thrustmaster T818, Asetek, SIMAGIC Alpha EVO and a universal front-mount option. Select the option for your actual wheelbase. A universal bracket does not guarantee clearance or compatibility with every installation.

The Triple Tech listing does not offer a bracket for Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T300. Wheelbase mounting bolts are the customer's responsibility. The Asetek variants specify different bolt lengths: M6 × 35 mm for Duo Tech and M6 × 40 mm for Triple Tech; these bolts are not included.

Plan USB connections and power

Each screen needs a USB 3.0 port or an appropriate powered USB hub. The listings specify a hub with at least 60 W and 5 A, with fewer than 10 ports recommended. An unpowered hub is not suitable. Follow the setup instructions supplied with your purchase to identify each screen in SimHub and assign the corresponding dashboard files.

Hardware and optional software

SimHub dashboard files are included with the hardware. The Dispatcher is optional DSS trucking software sold separately, with optional panels also sold separately. Check its current product page for supported games and features before buying a software license.

Before placing an order, review the current product page for configuration, price, availability, shipping and return terms. If fitment is uncertain, contact DSS with your wheelbase model, wheel diameter and mounting photos.
